Lisa Fernandez is a Trinidadian photographer who shoots street portraits around the world.
She is fascinated by life as it happens on the streets, and her portfolio is filled with images of people and their interactions with the world around them.
For several years she has focused locally on covering traditional Carnival characters and events. This year she continued her photo documentary of the Blue Devils, and began documenting the members of TouchDSky as they appeared at various events with their 2016 presentation.
Internationally, Lisa travels and studies with several National Geographic photographers. In the last two years these trips have taken her to Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Mongolia, and she is on to Morocco next.
Lisa has also worked locally with the Animal Welfare Network and the TTSPCA, where she uses her talents as a photographer to help raise funds and drive adoptions.
